Your customers three miles away cannot find you.
When you search your own trade and your own city, you see yourself. You are standing at your shop, so Google shows you to yourself. Drive fifteen minutes in any direction and you disappear. Goodwin Local fixes the part of Google that decides who gets the call.
We avoid calls. Written updates every week. Three-month initial term, then month to month.
What we actually do
Local search is not one thing. It is a Google Business Profile that has to be fed, a review count that has to keep climbing, business listings that have to agree with each other across dozens of directories, and pages on your site that answer what people actually type. Most businesses do one of those and wonder why nothing moves.
Google Business Profile
Categories, services, service areas, attributes, photos and weekly posts. The profile is the single biggest lever in the map pack and it is the one most businesses set up once and never touch again.
Reviews, continuously
A system that asks every customer at the right moment, and replies to every review that arrives. Review count and recency both feed ranking. Both are habits, not projects.
Citations and listings
Your name, address and phone made identical across the directories Google cross-checks. Boring, invisible, and it is often the reason a profile will not move.
Pages that answer real searches
Service pages and city pages built for what people type, with the schema markup that tells Google and AI assistants what your business is. This is the piece most local SEO packages quietly leave out.
A monthly map you can check
We measure where you rank at a grid of points across your service area, not at one address. Same points every month. If it does not move, you will see it before we tell you.
How we work, stated plainly
Most agencies sell you meetings and call it a relationship. We think meetings are where good work goes to die. So we run differently, and we would rather you know before you hire us than after.
We use AI and automation heavily
Deliberately, and we will tell you exactly where. It is how the work stays thorough at this price instead of getting thin. Anything that needs human judgment gets human judgment.
We avoid calls
Almost everything happens in writing and in short recorded videos you can watch at 6am or 11pm. When a call is genuinely unavoidable we get on one. What you will not get is a standing status meeting that could have been four sentences.
We batch, and we work odd hours
You may get a reply at midnight and nothing between nine and eleven. What you will not get is a slow week because we were in someone else's meeting.
You hear from us every week regardless
A written update every week, including the weeks where the honest answer is that nothing moved yet. Local SEO has slow months. You will not have to wonder.
Three months, then month to month
The initial term is three months because that is roughly how long local search takes to show real movement. After that it is month to month with no annual lock-in. The work stays yours throughout: your profile, your reviews, your pages, your accounts.
Pricing
One monthly price and one setup fee. No tiers to decode and no custom quote theatre.
Everything above: the profile, the reviews, the citations, the pages and the monthly map. Three-month initial term, then month to month.
Month one is the heavy one: the full audit, the profile rebuild, the listing cleanup and the first set of pages.
Founding client offer
Our first ten clients pay no setup fee at all. That is the full $1,000 waived. In exchange we ask for an honest review at the ninety-day mark and permission to publish what actually happened, flattering or not.
The monthly rate is the same $750 everyone pays. We would rather discount the part that genuinely is one-off than pretend the ongoing work is worth less than it is.
For reference, comparable local SEO packages run $500 to $900 a month, and most of them still expect you to show up to a monthly call.
Two things we say up front
Both of these cost us sales. We say them anyway, because finding out in month three is worse for everyone.
This takes months, not weeks
Local search moves slowly. In our experience the first real movement shows up somewhere between month two and month four, and anyone promising you results in thirty days is selling something else. That is exactly why the initial term is three months. Any shorter and neither of us learns anything.
If search is not your problem, we will tell you
Some businesses already rank everywhere that matters and are losing customers for an entirely different reason. If that turns out to be you, we will say so in the first video and you keep your money. We would rather lose the sale than take it under false pretences.
